Chang'an pagoda labeled green architecture

The Shaanxi provincial department of housing and urban-rural has recently organized an evaluation of annual green architecture for 2011. Heaven-and-Man Chang'an Tower, one of the four landmark buildings of Xi'an World Horticultural Exposition, was awarded the logo for 2011 green architecture.

The 16 prize-winning projects comprised 12 residential housing and four public buildings. Among them, the No 2 building of Baoyeyu Mansion of Ankang city, the first stage of Green Land, Landscape and Heavenly Town project of Yan'an city, Chanba Business Center of Xi'an city, and Heaven-and-Man Chang'an Tower, a landmark architecture of the Xi'an World Horticultural Exposition, obtained two-star green architecture logos. Twelve buildings, including the No 7, No 8 and No 9 buildings of the Daijiawan Business Center of Baoji city, won a one-star green architecture logo.
