DRC Delegation led by President Li visits Hungary and UKraine

At the invitation of the Ministry for National Economy of Hungary and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade in Ukraine, a DRC delegation headed by President Mr. Li Wei visited Hungary and Ukraine from May 31 to June 8. In Hungary, President Li Wei met with Mr. György Matolcsy, Minister for National Economy and exchanged views on the world economy and Sino-Hungarian economic relations. The delegation also had discussions with the Hungarian Investment and Trade Agency on Hungarian investment and trade policies and the Institute of World Economics at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences on issues of economic transition. The delegation met with representatives of Chinese companies invested in Hungary and visited the EP project of Sinoma. In Ukraine, the delegation attended the workshop on Sino-Ukraine economic relations hosted by the Scientific and Research Institute of Economics (SRIE), Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the MOU signing for establishing a collaborative relationship between DRC and SRIE. The delegation also visited the Ukraine Academy of Sciences and exchanged views with the academicians on social policies in response to aging issues. The delegation visited Ukraine Huawei and Lenovo, following the meeting with representatives of Chinese companies invested in Ukraine. The DRC delegation members included Mme. Sun Lanlan, Director General of the International Cooperation Department, Dr. Long Guoqiang, Director General, Research Department of Foreign Economic Relations, Dr. Zhao Changwen, Director General, Enterprise Research Institute, Ms Jiang Xiheng, Division Director, International Cooperation Department and Mr. Tao Pingsheng, Division Director of the General Office.
