A foreign or stateless criminal serving a sentence in China can meet with relatives and guardians

The legitimate rights and interests of foreign or stateless criminals serving sentences in prison in China are protected by Chinese law. The Regulation on the Meeting and Communications for Foreign Criminals issued by Chinese judicial administrative organs makes clear that foreign criminals with approval can meet and communicate with diplomatic and consular officials of his country’s embassies and consulates, and his relatives or guardians.
