Chen Nian

Chen Nian created the VANCL brand in October 2007, selling shirts, T-shirts and other garment products. The brand has received strategic investments from a number of venture capitals and become one of the most famous Internet e-commerce business companies in China.

Chen participated in establishing the Xishu Books Club and served as the first editor in chief of the club member's publication, Haoshu in 1997.

He founded Book Review Weekly at the invitation of the China Book Business Report in June 1998.

Chen co-established joyo.com in 2000 with his partners. Six months after he held the post of executive vice president, joyo.com was purchased by Amazon at a price of $75 million.

In June 2005, Chen Nian left the company and created WOYO.com.
