Water park to launch in Hefei next year
Updated: 2013-10-30

The China (Hefei) Luzhou Lantern Fair will kick off at Intangible Heritage Park in the city of Hefei, Anhui province, on December 18, Xin'an Evening News reported.

The lantern fair will last three months. During the event, teachers, students and senior citizens can enjoy half-off discounts. To provide convenient transportation, six shuttles will run for free every day between Intangible Heritage Park and People's Government Square.

In addition, citizens in Hefei can look forward to a new water park to cool off next summer. As reported, Hefei is constructing a new water park that is scheduled to open next June.

The water park covers an area of 10 hectares and will be themed around 28 Chinese myths. Once it's finished, it will be the largest outdoor water park in China.
