Visit the Yangtze River on an ancient boat
Updated: 2013-03-08

The Wuhu Yangtze River Sightseeing Marina was put into use on December 26. Co-financed by Wuhu Tourism Investment Company and Shanghai Baoying Shipping, the marina cost 15 million yuan ($2.41 million) and took one year to finish. Two antique sightseeing cruises in the marina were also officially put into use.

The marina is located in the first phase of Binjiang Garden (upstream from the Wuhu Grand Theatre). At present, new sightseeing routes have been opened along Binjiang Garden-Wuhu Yangtze River Bridge and Binjiang Garden-Zhongjiangta-Binjiang Garden II. For only 48 yuan per ticket, tourists can enjoy the beauty of the Yangtze River in Wuhu.

In the future, there will be other Yangtze River travel routes, such as Shanghai-Wuhu and Wuhu-Jiujiang, put into use through cooperation with cruise companies such as China Changjiang National Shipping (Group) Corporation and other foreign cruise enterprises.
