The award-winning ceramics were produced by Zhu Zhaolong, a ceramic art master in Huainan city, Anhui province. He spent many years researching and producing the utensils. The product was fired under a temperature of 1,260 C. The glaze resembles ancient porcelain and the tea set makes a metallic sound.

Zhu Zhaolong is an apprentice of Zhang Yue, the fourth generation successor of "Clay Figure Zhang". Zhu was born in July 1960 at the foot of Bagong Mountain.

Zhu graduated from the ceramic department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He previously worked in the Huainan Porcelain and Ceramics Factory as a designer, art director and chief engineer.

For the past three decades, he has followed the research and creation of art ceramics and published over 20 ceramics review papers in famous newspapers and magazines. His artworks have won awards in international and domestic exhibitions.

More than 50 of his products — such as porcelain pictures, painted sculptures and ceramic art works — have been collected by domestic collectors and art lovers from countries in Southeast Asia.
