A huge print showing the glamour of Anhui province will be hung in the main hall of Xinqiao Airport next January.

Shi Jing, a top national artist from Anhui Daily Press Group and vice chairman of the Anhui Artists Association, was selected as the designer. The print is a 36-meter-long, 6.75-meter-wide giant plate consisting of 48 fitted aluminum pieces. It will clearly display famous scenic spots from Huangshan Mountain, including Welcoming Pine and Flying Stone.

The print is expected to be completed on January 10 next year and installed successfully before the end of January. It will be the first time a print larger than 240 square meters will be hung at a national airport. "It is truly rare in national public art space," said an official from the Anhui Provincial Department of Culture.
