The International Traditional Chinese Medicine Exhibition 2012 and the 28th National Chinese Herbal Medicine Trade Fair opened in Bozhou on the evening of Sept 9.

The exhibition hosted a total of 11 themed activities, including the Traditional Medicine Exhibition, Alcohol Culture Festival, Hua Tuo Five-Animal Boxing Well-Being and Fitness Festival, Medicine and Medicinal Materials Trade Fair, and the President Forum of the National Well-Known Hospitals of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

On the evening of that day, Bozhou also held the Investment Environment Explanation Session and Signing Ceremony. Various key investment promotion projects were signed at the ceremony. Gross investment reached 15.18 billion yuan ($2.43 billion), with contract value reaching 8.3 billion yuan ($1.33 billion).
