To promote the 19th China Bean Curd Cultural Festival, the tourism bureau of Huainan city in Anhui province launched a series of sightseeing activities themed around visiting the bean curd hometown and enjoying the beautiful landscape of Huainan.

On the morning of Sept 14, Huainan held the opening ceremony for sightseeing activities and presented citizens with discounted tourist cards on the spot. Following the ceremony, 240 citizens met to travel for free to Bagong Mountain and Jiaogang Lake, two AAAA scenic spots.

From Sept 15-16, citizens can travel to Bagong Mountain, Shangyao, Maoxian Cave and Jiaogang Lake charge of free.

During the festival, a total of 10,000 discount tourist cards valid from September 2012 - August 2013 were given to citizens. Card holders may enjoy a 50 percent off ticket price for the above scenic spots and VIP prices for dining and accommodation in some star-rated hotels.
