Anhui province will promote about 280 cultural programs with a total investment of 19.7 billion dollars at the Investment and Trade Expo 2011 Anhui China and 2011 China (Hefei) High-Tech Fair to be held from November 8 to 11 in Hefei, the province's capital city.

With a theme of "integration, innovation and cooperation for common interests", activities for the cultural industry at the event will include program introduction, contract signing and exhibition.

About 280 cultural industrial projects have been tentatively selected for the expo, involving a total investment of 19.7 billion dollars.

Anhui has been the front runner of cultural industry-driven provinces in China since it launched a cultural system reform years ago.

A large number of contracts were signed at the annual Investment and Trade Expo from 2006 to 2010, covering 326 programs in the cultural industry with a total investment of 15.8 billion dollars.

This year's Investment and Trade Expo Anhui China is expected to be hosted together with the 11th China (Hefei) High-Tech Fair.
