  • Changchun

    As the capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, Changchun city is the political, economic and cultural center of Jilin.

  • Liaoyuan

    Liaoyuan city sits in the central and southern part of Jilin province, the transitional zone between Changbai Mountains and the Songliao Plain.

  • Yanbian

    Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture is under provincial jurisdiction and is the home of the Korean ethnic group.

  • Baicheng

    This is in northwestern Jilin province, with Heilongjiang province to the north, Inner Mongolia to the west, and administers five counties and three development zones and has a population of 2.02 million.

  • Tonghua

    Located in the southeast of Jilin province in Northeast China, Tonghua city covers an area of 15,600 square kilometers with a total population of 2.3 million -- 500,000 of whom comprise its urban population.

  • Siping

    Siping, located in the center of Northeast Asia -- the prefecture-level city in China's northeastern Jilin province -- has a total of 14,000 square kilometers and a population of 3.2 million.

  • Songyuan

    Songyuan, a prefecture-level city, sits in midwest Jilin province. It also lies in the triangle zone of Harbin, Changchun and Daqing cities.
