The 3rd Northeast Asia (Jilin) Safety and Emergency Industry Expo is scheduled to be held from June 16 to 18 at the Changchun International Conference and Exhibition Center in Changchun, the capital of Northeast China's Jilin province.

With areas focused on natural disasters, accidents, social security and public health, the expo will showcase more than 1,200 emergency technologies and products in 12 categories. It will have an overall exhibition area of around 30,000 square meters.

At present, more than 500 companies have registered to participate in the expo.

Visitors will learn about the application of 5G information technology in the field of safety and emergency response. They will be able to view the most advanced technology and equipment for emergency rescues, fires and forest fires, flood control and drought relief and geological disasters.

Expo attendees will be able to additionally view displays of police technology and equipment, special traffic emergency equipment and aviation emergency rescue equipment, all of which are rarely seen in daily life.

During the event, another safety emergency technology, products, results and equipment expo will be held to mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The organizing committee has invited delegates from more than 170 cities around the country, as well as more than 30,000 professional visitors.

Forums on safety and emergency responses will also be held during the event, along with activities to celebrate "safety promotion month," which falls in June.
