Members of the Jilin delegation reviewed the work reports of the Supreme People's Court and Supreme People's Procuratorate on March 10, according to local media reports.

Jing Junhai, leader of the delegation, said he believes that judicial bodies are supposed to enhance safety awareness, with the bigger picture of national governance in mind. The mission to carry out new development concepts, to serve people and to uphold justice should not be forgotten in the everyday work of all legal bodies.

On the one hand, Jing urged improvements to governance through reform; on the other hand he stressed the self-discipline of judicial teams.

Delegator Bayanqolu attached importance to political standpoints and Party-oriented service delivery. "Our nation's safety should be safeguarded through cracking down on all forms of violence and terror. Legal authorities are expected to perform better in major cases that involve civilians' welfare", he said.

Delegator Wang Bing proposed that efforts should be redoubled in optimizing the business environment and serving private enterprises.

In addition, specific crimes that include producing and selling poisonous food or fake drugs and postponing paying for workers were also mentioned in the review.
