To commend foreign experts who made outstanding contributions this year to the economic and social development of Jilin, the province in Northeast China held an awards ceremony on Dec 23, presenting the Changbai Mountain Friendship Award to 13 of them.

At the same time, 27 foreign experts won the title of Excellent Foreign Expert.

The great progress made by Jilin's economy, society and science and technology was partly due to the intelligence and contribution made by its foreign experts.

Jilin province is committed to building itself into a more open, innovative, inclusive and enterprising region.

Nowadays, it looks forward to close exchanges and cooperation with people from all walks of life and friends from all walks of life. It also warmly invites more foreign experts to come to Jilin to engage in innovation and entrepreneurship, and to share the local development and innovation platform with the people of Jilin.

Moving forwards, the province plans to implement a more active, open and effective recruitment policy, to provide a broad stage for foreign experts to display their talents.
