Five novel coronavirus pneumonia-infected patients in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, were cured and discharged from hospitals on Feb 9, according to a new conference held on the day.

Officials said that to date, Changchun has 37 confirmed cases of NCP, of whom six had been discharged from hospitals.

In addition, two infected patients in Yanbian Korea autonomous prefecture in the province were also discharged from hospitals on the day.

Officials said that one patient is 29 years old and living in Helong city, another is 27 and living in Tumen city -- and both of them work in Wuhan.
