The Third World Conference of Jilin Merchants is scheduled to open in Changchun, capital city of Jilin province, on July 25-26.

The conference aims to help traders in Jilin play an important role in the revitalization of the province's economy, and to actively encourage those with origins in Jilin who are currently abroad or in other parts of China to return home to work or start businesses there. At present, over 600 participating enterprises and more than 700 traders have confirmed their attendance.

The Third World Conference of Jilin Merchants is scheduled to open in Changchun, capital city of Jilin province, on July 25-26.

Organizers have planned to hold several activities during the conference, including the National Local Chamber of Commerce Forum, the "Talents, Jilin Merchants, Industrial Parks" Investment Fair, and several other related roundtables and activities.

Since the beginning of 2018, Jilin has carried out a series of intensive investment promotion activities for central enterprises, Beijing enterprises, listed companies, as well as companies in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other areas. According to statistics, Jilin province has already established relations with over 1,700 target enterprises, as well as having developed a large number of cooperation projects.

To contribute to further cooperation, Jilin aims to sign on 40 important projects worth a total investment of 26.8 billion yuan ($3.97 biliion) and to negotiate on another 57 projects during the conference.
