'Winter swimming' in Jilin

The Songhua River, flowing through the city of Jilin in Northeast China's Jilin province, has recently gathered flocks of 'swimmers' from the Siberia Region of Russia.

These wild ducks usually migrate to Jilin around the beginning of the Start of Winter, the first solar term for winter on the Chinese lunar calendar, and stay over in Jilin until flowers blossom in the spring.
