The top three are Yang Hongying, Guo Jingming and Zheng Yuanjie, who are all young writers. The list suggests that literature is becoming younger. Wu Huairao, the creator of the China author rich list, said that the influence of pure literature continued to decline, and adults tend to read practical books. Hong Kong and Macao authors, such as Li Ao, Jin Yong and Long Yingtai, are also included on the list.
