The 2nd Strawberry Music Festival was held May 1-3 in Beijing Tongzhou Canal Park. Along with an immense line-up of local musicians, the international troop consisted of bands from America, Britain, France, Denmark and Holland.
Music Funhill Festival was held in Fangshan District Sept. 23. The festival lasted for three days and ended on Thursday during the Mid-Autumn Festival. It provided outdoor fun featuring a strong line-up of national and international bands.
Chinese rock fans cheered during the Modern Sky Music Festival at Haidian Park in Beijing. Organized by Modern Sky records, the first independent record label in China, the music festival was held from Oct 2-4 to coincide with the Chinese National Day holiday.
