PHILADELPHIA - A second lawsuit has been filed against a suburban Philadelphia school district accused of spying on students through cameras in school-issued laptop computers.
The lawsuit filed Tuesday in federal court says the surveillance software remained activated for about two months after the laptop was returned, and more than 1,000 photos were taken from the webcam and screen shots.
Attorney Mark Haltzman is representing Hasan and his family, as well as another family that filed a similar lawsuit in February. The district has declined to comment.
