With the spread of the Internet, more and more minors are joining the group of netizens, with a steady decrease in the average age. The first Annual Report on the Internet Use by Minors in China (2009-2010), published on June 18, says that nearly 4.2 million of netizens are under the age of 10, accounting for 1.1 percent of the total population of Internet users in China.
