Cross-talk master Hou Yaowen dies at 59

Hou Yaowen, China's renowned cross-talk master, smiles to audience. He dies of sudden heart failure on June 23, 2007, at the age of 59. Wang Yang, Hou's prentice was quote as saying that Hou was stricken unexpectedly with severe heart attack at home, the emergency medical staff tried their best to save the householdly beloved cross-talker's life, but ended up in no avail.
