British sculptor recreates beautiful art from junk

Barbara Franc fashions amazing sculptures of animals and birds using recycled items she finds walking her dog in London.

Materials the 58-year-old sculptor has used include scrap metal, windscreen wipers, dog leads, keys and cupboard handles. Her work ranges from colorful macaws to horses and hares.

Barbara explains: "I find a lot of my materials by keeping my eyes open when out walking the dog, I'll always have a quick look in any skip, and a lot of pieces are just lying on the ground, jumble sales and charity shops are also good."
