The moon shines on optical illusions for Mid-Autumn Festival

A festive atmosphere is growing with the approach of Sunday's Mid-Autumn Festival, which usually falls on the 15th day of the eighth month of the Chinese lunar calendar.

Traditionally, the festival is a time for family gatherings where members appreciate the moon and eat moon cakes.

In addition to traditional celebrations, these magnificent photographs of the moon may inspire people to have their own fun with the moon.
