Exhibition opens to mark 35th anniversary of Sino-US diplomatic ties

A Chinese paintings exhibition dedicated to commemorate the 35th anniversary of establishment of Sino-US diplomatic relations opened on July 17 at Carter Center, in Atlanta, US state of Georgia.

The exhibition displays 31 Chinese brush drawings featuring topics such as people of ethnic groups in China, landscape, flowers, ancient architecture, Peking Opera and the friendship between the two peoples.

The event, which was jointly run by Artists Association of China and Carter Center, was attended by former US President Jimmy Carter, Chinese Consul General in Houston Li Qiangmin, and more than 100 other representatives from Chinese and American circles of culture and business.
