Beijing museum displays Haihunhou tomb artifacts

More than 400 artifacts selected from 20,000 items unearthed from the tomb of Haihunhou (Marquis of Haihun) in East China's Jiangxi province will be displayed at an exhibition at the Capital Museum in Beijing from March 2 to June 2. The tomb, which covers roughly 40,000 square meters and dates back to the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - 24 AD), contains eight small tombs and a burial site for chariot horses. At a press conference in Beijing on March 2, 2016, archaeologists said the tomb belongs to Liu He, the first of the four generations that held the title Marquis Haihun.
