House made of rare timber discovered in C China

An entire house made of jinsi nanmu, or gold phoebe, has been found in Enshi Tu and Miao autonomous prefecture, Central China's Hubei province, July 17, 2015. The well-preserved house could belong to the Ming (13681644) and Qing dynasties (16441911). Jinsi nanmu is rare and precious timber, and experts estimate that the property could be worth more than 10 million yuan ($1.6 million). [Photo/CFP]
