The world's first and largest museum on Chinese characters opened last week in Anyang, Henan province, after preparing for eight years.

Covering an area of 10 hectares, the four-story complex houses at least 4,123 photographs, paintings, art works, folk handicrafts, documents, and excavated relics, besides multimedia installations, that vividly illustrate the evolution of Chinese characters.
