China Daily Media Group

China Daily, founded on June 1, 1981, is the national English-language newspaper and is targeted at Western mainstream society. Through 28 years, it has evolved into a multi-media group focusing on providing comprehensive information for readers through traditional and new media.

China Daily’s reports are the most frequently quoted by foreign media and it acts as an important window to “China understanding the world and be understood by the world”. Guided by premier content, China Daily is well on its way to being a world-class media group.

Founded in October 1997, the China Daily Hong Kong Edition is the only national publication in Hong Kong.

China’s National Image Journal originates from the “Reports from China”, which was founded in 1992. Launched in February, 2008, China Daily Mobile News is China’s first bilingual mobile news service, and has become the second largest official mobile news service in China. China Daily iPhone Application

Asia News Network(ANN)

China Daily is a member of the Asina News Network(ANN), which is a group of leading daily newspapers published in Asian cities. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Culture, CHINACULTURE.ORG is operated by chinadaily.com.cn.  Language Tips is a bilingual English study section hosted by China Daily website. Zhongbao Hope Primary School

The Dongxiang Ethnic Minority Autonomous County is the only autonomous county for the Dongxiang ethnic minority. China Daily, a designated assisting unit for Dongxiang County since 1999, has built a poverty-alleviation team and office as part of its commitment to Dongxiang. China Daily leverages its position as the national English newspaper and uses its Chinadaily.com.cn platform, as well as other media resources, to introduce its poverty-alleviation project to the world.
