Obviously, China values the Central and South American countries greatly to send such high ranking delagations to them repeatedly. In fact, the latest trip is proof of Xi's continued, even enhanced, attention to this region.

That trade imbalances have favored China merely proves that China produces more things that they need, than they produce that China needs.  This may change over time, but should not be a cause for distrust or enmity.
