WHO's Five Keys to Safer Food exhibition is running Oct 11-15 at the UN Pavilion of the Expo 2010 Shanghai.

The Five Keys are: Keep clean; Separate raw and cooked; Cook thoroughly; Keep food at safe temperature; Use safe water and raw materials.

Based on the premise that knowledge is prevention, the Five Keys is part of WHO's global campaign to decrease the danger of food-borne diseases by training food handlers and raising consumers' awareness on food health.

In order to reach out to all segments of China's 1.3 billion population, WHO has also worked with the Ministry of Health to translate the Five Keys into seven languages spoken by ethnic groups.
