The two exchanged rings and the groom kissed the bride. The two then became each other's spouse and audiences gave applauses and blessings.

The couple planned an overseas wedding earlier and then they learned that people can get married at the stage of Japanese Industry Pavilion so they applied and got the permission, the groom said.

"Thanks for the visitors to witness the wedding, we feel really moved and happy", the groom added.

"We hope we could use this ceremony to let more Chinese people know about and like Japanese style wedding ceremony", said a member of staff with the company ADIC, organizer of the ceremony.

It was said that during a Japanese traditional wedding, the bride will wear 12 layers of clothing with a fragrance bag, a fan and a decorative sword in her clothing belt as well as a bowknot at the rear of her kimono.
