A Shanghai Expo spokesman said reports about a trampling incident at the Expo on May 30, 2010, were not true, saying all was in good order, the Jinghua Times reported Tuesday.

The spokesman clarified that all activities at the Expo Culture Center on Sunday ran in an orderly fashion, and that high temperatures and big crowds were to blame for some visitors getting heat strokes and slightly injured before the South Korea concert.

Those visitors who became sick were all sent to nearby medical centers or hospitals to receive treatment, the spokesman added.
