BEIJING - China's top political advisor Jia Qinglin left Beijing Friday morning to pay official goodwill visits to Syria, Poland, Oman and Kazakhstan.

Jia, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, is scheduled to make the trip from Oct 29 to Nov 11.

His trip is at the invitation of Syria's Progressive National Front, Poland's Senate, Oman's Consultative Council and the lower house of the Kazakh parliament.
