Primorsky has China's northeastern Jilin province as its partner of friendly cooperation.

During a recent meeting in Beijing between Sergei and his counterpart Wang Rulin, governor of Jilin, they discussed joint programs in agriculture, manufacturing and tourism, agreeing on further cooperation.
