Woman in 70s saves herself from drowning

A woman in her 70s saved herself from drowning in a large drainage ditch using her windbreaker, according to a report by national broadcaster CCTV.
The woman, of south Taiwan's Tainan county, was found at night floating on the dark water and crying for help. She had been holding herself afloat for more than 20 minutes by clutching her coat's collar and filling it with air, said a local firefighter.
She was pulled out of the water with a ladder and rod, CCTV reported.
