7 killed, 19 injured after bus falls into ravine in SW China

NANNING: At least seven people were killed and 19 others injured after their vehicle ran off the road and fell into a ravine in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Thursday, police said.

A 19-seat shuttle bus carrying 26 people rolled into the 40-meter-deep ravine in Donglan County of Hechi City at about 9:35 am, said Qin Yongjun, a police spokesman in Guangxi.

Seven of the passengers were killed and the injured, including seven seriously, were hospitalized.

Police are investigating the accident.
