BEIJING - Hong Kong and south China's Guangdong province reached a framework agreement here Wednesday to secure closer economic cooperation.
Chinese Vice-President Xi Jinping attended the ceremony held by Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Guangdong governments in Beijing.
