KATHMANDU - Nepal-China Executives Council (NCEC) is set to organize South Asia China Trade Fair 2010 on April 8-11 in capital Kathmandu, organizers has said.
"This is a warm welcome step taken by NCEC organizing such a trade fair, however, role of South Asian Association Region for Cooperation (SAARC) should be incorporated for business, trade and economy tie within the region," said Ahamer Ismail, Consul to Pakistan Embassy in Nepal.

Representatives from Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, China, and Bangladesh were present at the press briefing organized here Sunday afternoon.
Leading products from a broad range of categories -- automobiles, furniture, home appliances, electronics products, mobile phones, machinery, wind power generation equipment, health equipment will be exhibited during the trade fair.
Besides this, foreign investors interested in Nepal and factories in Nepal are also attending this trade fair, according to the organizers.
According to Rajendra Nakarmi, Secretary of NCEC, there will be altogether 150 stalls in the trade fair. More than 100,000 visitors are expected to attend the trade fair followed by around $694,444 transactions.
The trade fair is supported by Trade and Export Promotion Center, Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Nepal Overseas Import Export Association, Chinatown Shopping Center Business Association.
