Many govt websites in bad state

Nearly half of all governmental websites across 43 major cities in China have been found to run in bad state, according to a report released by the Chinese Academy of Social Science (CASS), China Youth Daily reported on Monday.
The report found the websites center more on look other than content with some web columns even appearing blank. Some websites also don't update information, posting outdated telephone numbers and email addresses, according to the Yearly Report on Chinese Local Government Transparency 2009.
