Vice-premier back home from WEF meeting in Davos

BEIJING: Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang returned to Beijing Friday afternoon after visiting Switzerland and attending the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting in Davos.

Li arrived on Monday in Switzerland, where he met with Swiss President Doris Leuthard, WEF executive chairman Klaus Schwab, entrepreneurs and executives of companies from various countries.

At the WEF annual meeting in the eastern Swiss ski resort of Davos, Li delivered a keynote speech, calling for international efforts to promote the sound recovery and sustained development of the world economy in the post-crisis era.
