Schools urged to filter online information

All primary and middle schools have been urged to install web firewalls to stop harmful information being accessed, the Beijing Morning Post reported today.
China's Ministry of Education also asked education departments of all levels to inspect school networks and make sure filter systems to stop bad content have been installed, the report said.
