Vehicle accident kills 7 in S China region

NANNING: Seven people were killed and 13 others injured after a farm vehicle fell off a cliff Saturday afternoon in southern China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the regional public security bureau said Sunday.

The accident happened at around 5:00 pm Saturday in Debao county, when the farm vehicle fell off a 100-m deep cliff. Seven people have been confirmed dead by press time, and the injured are receiving treatment at a local hospital.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
