Marriott opens new hotel in Nanning

Global hotel giant Marriott International opened a new hotel in Nanning on Friday, December 18.

Marriott has opened 34 hotels in China and is expected to open 18 more over the next five years. Nanning is the capital of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region

At the hotel's opening ceremony, Dato David Law Tien Seng, executive chairman of T. S. Law Holdings, a Malaysia-based investor in the Nanning Marriot, said he will continue to support trade cooperation with Guangxi enterprises in the mining, steel and hotel sectors.

T.S. Law Holdings also donated 300,000 yuan to the Project Hope for primary and middle school students in Guangxi, and 200,000 yuan to poor university students in the region.
