Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will visit China next year, said Russian ambassador to China Sergey Razov today in Beijing.
Following traditional schedules, next year will witness Russian President's visit to China, the Chinese Premier's visit to Russia and frequent exchanges at ministerial level, said Razov at a press conference.
Meetings between the leaders from the two countries will be more frequent next year on multilateral platforms including the G20, APEC, BRICs, China-Russia-India and Shanghai Cooperation Organization summits, said Razov.
Razov also told the press that the oil and gas pipeline negotiation between the two countries is still going on, but an oil refining plant is sure to be built inside China when the deal is signed.
Two events will mark the start of the exchanges between the two countries next year, which are the opening of the Chinese Language Year in Russia and the 65th anniversary of the victory of the Second World War.
"The two countries both think their strategic partnership will grow more mutual, stable and efficient as time goes by," Razov added.
