Safe online shopping platform to be launched

Software maker Jinshan will join Taobao, a leading online trading platform in China, and Maxthon Browser to build a secure online shopping platform, the Beijing Times reported on Wednesday.
Efforts will be made in fighting entrapment websites, inventing proactive web pages and strengthening online security, the report said.
The total sum of online shopping is expected to reach 500 billion yuan ($73 billion) this year and losses caused by network viruses are estimated to be 7.6 billion yuan ($1.11 billion).
