Chinese president appoints new ambassadors

Updated: 2009-09-14 21:51 BEIJING: Chinese President Hu Jintao has appointed five new ambassadors in line with a decision adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature.
Tang Guoqiang was appointed ambassador to Norway, replacing Gao Jian. Huang Xing was appointed ambassador to Finland, replacing Ma Keqing. Yuan Nansheng was appointed ambassador to Surinam, replacing Su Ge. Su Ge was appointed ambassador to Iceland, replacing Zhang Keyuan. |
