Beijing exhibition to highlight autonomous region development

An exhibition about the achievements in China's five autonomous regions, including Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Guangxi, Ningxia and Tibet, opened in Beijing Tuesday, chinanews.com reported today.

The exhibition displays the economic, political, cultural, social and ecological developments in the five regions and is said to be a present for the upcoming 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

The exhibition will run until September 17.
