Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, hugely popular at home for visits to quake-hit Sichuan hours after the quake, now has a page on the Facebook social networking site.

It is not clear who set up the profile.
As of Thursday, Premier Wen's Facebook page has had over 22,000 supporters, many more than the previous day.
Media reports said that most of the supporters signed up after the May 12 earthquake that has until now killed more than 68,000 people and left millions homeless.
One supporter named "Cun" wrote in Chinese, "I immediately came to support you after hearing the news. Take Care!"
Another supporter "Max" wrote, "Your kind words and actions to the casualties have my deepest admiration, together with your Swift and Decisive action during the Sichuan earthquake. It proves to show that no matter what political party we belong to, the basic human nature is kindness, have been well demonstrated by your actions and deeds."
Supporter "Jiedi" wrote, "You are truly inspirational to many people, especially the younger generation! I cried when I saw you holding the little girl's hands and telling her to be strong and live a good life."
Supporter "Angelo" wrote, "Great job! I'm probably the only white person in this group but I don't care. Keep up the exceptional work!"
